Codex Styler compatibility
Platform, architecture, Codex version, and theme-format compatibility policy for Codex Styler.
Current Beta targets
Unsigned Beta installers are available for macOS on Apple Silicon and Windows 11 x64. macOS Beta 9 includes affected-device evidence for multi-page CDP launch and apply; Windows is produced and structurally checked in CI but explicitly awaits community validation. The RC gate requires at least two complete independent device reports per platform.
Codex updates
Codex Desktop may change internal structure. Styler isolates selectors in an adapter and uses live health checks instead of blocking solely by version number. Failed checks fall back to the isolated compatibility layer.
